My name is Eric Skinner, President of
AviationAcres.com. My business partner,
Brent Stevens and I would like to thank you
for visiting AviationAcres.com. Our intent
is to provide a viable and valuable resource
for
aviation enthusiasts, real estate
professionals and private parties looking to
purchase or market their aviation related
property.
Aviation Acres was first developed in 2006 and
like many websites, it took some time to evolve
into the website and resource you’ve visited
today. Our research has shown there are a
significant amount of aviation related websites
that list airport related properties, yet many
are simply “classified ad” listings with
limited, if any, ability to search for a
property to meet your specific needs. What
happens if you need a three thousand square
foot, four bedroom, three bath home in Florida
with a paved 4000+ foot runway …. and you want
the airport to have fuel service? Well, prior
to Aviation Acres, you would have been stuck
manually searching through thousands of
classified ads in an effort to locate what may
not even be available.
Since the inception of Aviation Acres, we are
all about matching aviation enthusiasts with the
properties that meet their needs. We also
believe Aviation Acres provides the best
available means for real estate professionals,
agencies and “For Sale By Owner” clients to
effectively market their listings to a highly
motivated, targeted audience. Nearly all MLS
systems, throughout the country, do not provide
information about aviation related properties,
which is where Aviation Acres becomes a most
valuable resource.
My
development team has gone to great lengths to
develop this site to be as “user friendly” as
possible. Our three goals while developing this
site was to first provide a simple, effective
tool for enthusiasts looking to purchase an
aviation property. Secondly, we wanted the site
to be affordable for real estate professionals,
agencies and private sellers to list and market
their properties. Finally, we wanted the user
interface to offer easy entry of properties into
our extensive database. I sincerely hope, you
feel, we’ve met our goals.
As
a private pilot myself, with a strong computer
background from my military days, Aviation Acres
has provided me a creative outlet that has
touched upon all my passions. A passion is
exactly what Aviation Acres has become for me.
My commitment, to both visitor and client, is to
consistently implement the most effective ways
to drive maximum exposure of the site to further
encourage visitor and client participation.
